4. SMS / Text Messaging

By opting in to receive SMS or text messages from Katavon LLC, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages at the mobile phone number you provided. These messages may include service updates, promotional offers, appointment reminders, and business-related communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance or email us at ridham@katavon.com.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Katavon.
We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes, including via any shared lead list or co-registration. Your opt-in information will not be shared with, sold to, or bought by any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For questions about your text plan or data costs, contact your wireless provider.

5. Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate our business. These providers process your data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to use it only for the purposes we specify:
- Stripe — for payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant; we never receive or store your full card details)
- Google Workspace — for email communications
- Netlify — for website hosting
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not control the privacy practices of our service providers and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
6. Advertising and Remarketing
We do not display third-party advertisements on our website. We do not currently use remarketing or retargeting services for advertising purposes. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide you with appropriate notice and opt-out options.
7. Payments
If you purchase services from Katavon, your payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. When you make a payment, your financial information (such as credit card number and billing address) is transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full payment card details. We receive only a confirmation of payment, transaction amount, and the last four digits of your card for record-keeping purposes.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to analyze traffic, remember preferences, and improve functionality. The types of cookies we may use include:

9. Data Retention

- Payment and transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
If you request deletion of your data, we will process your request within 45 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months.
Sources of personal information: directly from you (forms, email, phone), and automatically from your browser or device when you visit our website.
Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA/CPRA request on your behalf. We may require verification of the agent's identity and signed written authorization from you before processing such a request.
Verification: To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing any access, deletion, or correction request. We may ask you to confirm details associated with your account or prior interactions with us.

We will acknowledge your request within 10 days and respond substantively within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension (up to an additional 45 days).
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
In accordance with CalOPPA, we make the following disclosures:
- Users can visit our website anonymously
- This Privacy Policy is accessible via a conspicuous link on our home page and from every page on our website that collects personal information
- Our Privacy Policy link includes the word "Privacy" and can be easily found on the pages specified above
- Users will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on this page via the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

Do Not Track disclosure (CalOPPA): We honor Do Not Track signals to the extent that we do not engage in cross-site tracking. We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking on our website. When a Do Not Track browser mechanism is activated, we will not track your activity across other websites.
12. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age.
